Anti-Wrinkle Consultation

An anti-wrinkle treatment consultation is an opportunity for you to discuss your concerns and expectations with a qualified doctor.

 

 During this consultation, your provider will assess your skin and determine if you are a good candidate for the treatment, as well as provide you with personalised recommendations and a treatment plan.

Skin Booster Treatment

Before Treatment

Preparing for your treatment is an important part of ensuring a successful and safe outcome. Here are some tips to follow before your treatment:

  • Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil. These can increase your risk of bruising and bleeding during and after the treatment.

​

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine: Both alcohol and caffeine can dehydrate your skin, which can increase the risk of bruising. Try to avoid these for a day or two before your appointment.​

​

  • Discuss your medical history with your nurse: Let us know about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you're currently taking. This can help them determine if you're a good candidate for the treatment and adjust our approach accordingly.

​

  • Come with a clean face: It's important to come to your appointment with a clean face, free of makeup or other products. This will allow us to better assess your skin and apply the injections more accurately.​

After Treatment

Do not touch or rub treated area for 2-4 hours following treatment. Avoid exercise and sweating for the remainder of the day and no lying down or leaning forward for 4-6 hours after treatment.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is our skin’s natural moisturiser, it binds water which moisturises the skin and provides tightness. Over time, its natural production decreases and skin loses its elasticity and firmness. HA is an ingredient often present in anti-ageing day and night creams. However, when it is applied to the skin (externally) as a cream or serum, the HA cannot penetrate through all layers of the skin. For visible skin restoration and volume enhancement HA is injected into different layers of the skin by a qualified aesthetic practitioner.
